The objectives of MCC training are to: optimize decision making, communication, division of tasks, use of checklists, mutual supervision, teamwork and support throughout all phases of flight under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions. This course will emphasize the development of non-technical skills applicable to working in a multi-crew environment.

The focus of the course is to teach students the basics of the functioning of crew members as a team in a multi-crew environment, not simply as a collection of technically competent individuals. Furthermore the course will provide students with the opportunities to practice the skills necessary to be effective team leaders and members, both in pilot flying and pilot non-flying role.

The aim of the course is to enable the pilot to become proficient in multi-crew co-operation in order to safely operate multi-pilot, multi-engine aircraft under IFR. It requires notions of crew communication procedures, cockpit design features of jet transport aircraft and transport jet flying techniques.

You will work with a buddy, but you do not have to register in pairs (often imposed by competitors).
